Our department deals with all types of diseases of respiratory system. Including disease of the airways (Bronchial Asthma, COPD, Diseases of Interstitium (ILD), disease of alveolar space (ARDS) disease of pulmonary vasculature (PAH, PE, Vasculitis) disorders of ventilatory control, occupational lung disease, all types of infection related to lung, diseases of mediastium and pleura, cancer of lung & pleura and sleep related disorders (SAS, Narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, periodic limb movement, UARS. Upper airway resistant syndrome). |

Pulmonary department is very well established with well equipped and ultra modern machines. We have one of the best PFT lab, bronchoscopy unit (Paediatric & Adult) & sleep lab. |

Our unit his both adult & Paediatric Bronchoscope with C-Arm facility for TBLB whenever needed. Polysomnography / sleep study has become science itself in the modern day medical world. Sleep related disorders mainly sleep apnea syndrome to very common mainly who is obese and shores at night. These patients are very high risk of developing HT, paralysis, thyroid problem. |
